FAQs

Can we bring pets?

We are happy to accommodate working dogs that live outside.

Can we get involved with the farm?

Certain times of year are better than this than others for meeting the animals.  Lambing time is usually mid-March.  Calving time from April onwards.  There are always chickens to feed.

Can we have a campfire or barbecue?

Yes

Are children welcome?

Yes but we ask that other than in the cottage garden they are never left unsupervised.

Do we need a car?

Most guests bring a car, however we are only a short taxi ride from Windermere station and it is under three hours from London Euston to Windermere Station.  We are half a mile from the A591 which is a main bus route through the Lakes.
